“东芝水电”注册资本金为2500万美元。其中东芝集团出资80％，中国水利水电建设集团公司出资20％。
2005年1月，东芝集团与中国水利水电建设集团公司以股权转让的方式将富春江富士水电设备有限公司变更为东芝水电设备（杭州）有限公司。
东芝集团在水力发电设备制造领域，拥有110多年的悠久历史，一直致力于最新技术的开发与研究，向世界各地的客户提供了众多尖端产品。尤其在抽水蓄能发电设备方面，始终处于大容量、高水头、高转速机组技术开发的前列，提供了大量创纪录的尖端产品，并占领了市场的首席地位。
“东芝水电”作为东芝集团在华设立的69家合资、独资企业一员，将以东芝强大的水力、电力设备设计、制造技术和优异的品质管理为后盾，谋求更大发展，力争成为中国乃至世界一流的水电设备制造商，竭诚为中国及世界市场提供最有价值的产品与服务，为人类社会的发展作出贡献。
Toshiba Hydro Power (Hang Zhou) Co., Ltd. (Abbreviated as Toshiba Hydro Power) is a joint
venture enterprise, jointly invested by Toshiba Corporation and Sinohydro Corporation.
Its main activities are research and development, design, manufacturing, as well as
installation and services in hydro-electric equipment field.
The registered capital of Toshiba Hydro Power is 25,000,000 US dollars, of which 80
percent is funded by Toshiba Corporation and 20 percent is funded by Sinohydro Corporation.
In January 2005, Toshiba Corporation and Sinohydro Corporation reorganized Fuchunjiang
Fuji Hydro Power Equipment Co., Ltd. as Toshiba Hydro Power (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. by
transferring the stock-ownership.
With over 110 years’ history of hydro turbine and hydro generator business, Toshiba
Corporation has been playing a leading roll in hydro business and providing the most
advanced products to the clients in all across the world. Especially in the largest
capacity conventional hydro machines, Toshiba have been a vanguard in large capacity,
high head, high speed pumped storage equipment. For more than 30 years, it has been
providing the world-record-breaking products backed by the most advanced R&D in this
field.
